1. Introduction

These terms govern your use of bbauk.co and any purchase of products or services from Black Barrel Armouries Ltd (“BBA”). By using this website or placing an order you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or over to use this website. Purchase of certain products requires you to hold a valid Firearms Certificate, Shotgun Certificate, or appropriate Home Office authority. It is your responsibility to hold the correct documentation before placing any order. BBA reserves the right to request proof of authority before dispatch.

3. Products

All products are manufactured to order unless otherwise stated. Lead times are indicative and may vary. BBA reserves the right to refuse any order at its discretion.

Sound moderators (suppressors) are Section 1 firearms under the Firearms Act 1968. Purchase and possession require a valid Firearms Certificate with a specific variation authorising sound moderators. BBA will not dispatch sound moderator orders without verified certificate authority.

4. Payment

Payment is processed securely via Stripe. Card details are not retained by BBA. Prices are quoted in pounds sterling and are exclusive of VAT unless stated. VAT will be added at the applicable rate at checkout.

5. Returns

Made-to-order products cannot be returned unless faulty. If a product arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 14 days at info@bbauk.co with photographs and order reference.

Where a product is faulty, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply in full, including the 30-day right to reject a faulty good and, after that period, the right to a repair or replacement. These terms do not limit or exclude those rights.

As all products are manufactured to order, the 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 does not apply (Regulation 28 exemption for bespoke goods).

Where cancellation is requested before production has commenced, a full refund will be issued. Once we confirm that production has started, the order is non-refundable. If you wish to cancel, contact info@bbauk.co quoting your order reference as soon as possible.

6. Limitation of Liability

BBA’s liability is limited to the value of the order in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraudulent misrepresentation.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

8. Vault Storage Services

The BBA Vault service connects certificated firearms owners with RFD-registered third-party storage facilities (“Partner Facilities”). The following additional terms apply to all Vault bookings.

• You must hold a valid Firearms Certificate or Shotgun Certificate authorising the firearm(s) being stored. It is your sole responsibility to ensure your certificate covers the firearm at all times during storage.
• All movements of firearms to and from a Partner Facility must be conducted lawfully by the certificate holder or an authorised representative. BBA does not accept responsibility for unlawful transportation by the customer or their agents.
• Collection from your address (where offered) is arranged directly between you and the Partner Facility. BBA facilitates the booking only. You remain responsible for ensuring the collection is conducted in compliance with UK firearms legislation.
• BBA acts as a booking and payments intermediary. Storage is provided by the Partner Facility, not by BBA. BBA's liability in connection with Vault services is limited to the booking fee paid.
• BBA does not insure stored firearms. You are responsible for ensuring your own firearms insurance policy covers the firearm during third-party storage. Confirm coverage with your insurer before booking.
• In the event a Partner Facility becomes unable to fulfil a booking, BBA will notify you promptly and arrange either an alternative facility or a full refund of fees paid to BBA. BBA accepts no liability for loss caused by a Partner Facility's insolvency or closure.
• RFD records and intake logs are maintained by the Partner Facility to statutory standards. You will receive confirmation of intake and return by email.

9. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property in BBA’s product designs, specifications, technical drawings, marketing materials, and website content remains the exclusive property of Black Barrel Armouries Ltd. No licence in BBA’s intellectual property is granted by these terms. Any designs, drawings, specifications, or other materials submitted to BBA by a customer in connection with a bespoke order enquiry remain the property of the customer; BBA will not use them for any purpose other than fulfilling that enquiry.

If you are unhappy with a product, service, or any aspect of your experience with BBA, please contact us in the first instance:

If your complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may seek independent legal advice or contact Citizens Advice (citizensadvice.org.uk) for guidance on your options under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other applicable legislation.

11. Changes

BBA reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the site following any change constitutes acceptance.
